For details, please refer to the chapter on the <span class=\"highlight\">Shipping administration<\/span>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mb-5 btn-helper m--1\">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/versandverwaltung\/\" title=\"Shipping administration in JTL-WMS\" class=\"btn-wms btn m-1\">\n\t\tShipping administration in JTL-WMS<\/a><\/div><h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"sales-order-overview\">Sales order overview <span id='anchor-sales-order-overview' data-href='#sales-order-overview' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p>The <span class=\"highlight\">Sales order overview<\/span> provides an overview of all sales orders, their current status and the storage location of the individual items.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"wms-shipping-options\">WMS shipping options <span id='anchor-wms-shipping-options' data-href='#wms-shipping-options' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p>The <span class=\"highlight\">WMS shipping options<\/span> in JTL-Wawi allow the assignment of four different statuses per sales order:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-reset ml-3 list-icons list-custom-square list-wms\">\n\t<li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>Prioritise<\/b>: A sales order that has been prioritised is added to a pick list before other sales orders.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>Lock<\/b>: Locked sales orders do not appear on pick lists and cannot be packed.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<strong>Pre-pick<\/strong>: The sales order can be pre-picked here, even if one or more items are not in stock and are to be added later. You could also use this to pick the goods today and pack them tomorrow for organisational reasons.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>Deliver partially:<\/b> This option allows you to partially deliver a sales order despite its incompleteness, which would not be possible with, for example, Eazyshipping.\t<\/li><\/ul><div class=\"media-object media-object-border d-flex align-items-top\">\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t<span class=\"mt-1 mr-3 flex-shrink-0 far fa-info-circle fa-2x columnsize-fa-2x text-wms\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t<span class=\"media-content border-wms\">\n\t\n\t\t\t<strong>Problem solving:<\/strong> When you work with shipping processes on a daily basis, small problems will occur now and then. Items get damaged, forgotten or misplaced. There are currently three ways to pack a sales order in JTL-WMS.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-reset ml-3 list-icons list-custom-square list-wms\">\n\t<li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>EazyShipping<\/b>\t<\/li><\/ul><div class=\"ml-6 btn-helper m--1\">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-wms\/goods-issue\/goods-issue-with-eazyshipping\/\" title=\"Goods issue with EazyShipping\" class=\"mb-5 btn-wms btn m-1\">\n\t\tGoods issue with EazyShipping<\/a><\/div><ul class=\"list-reset ml-3 list-icons list-custom-square list-wms\">\n\t<li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>Shipping boxes<\/b>\t<\/li><\/ul><div class=\"ml-6 btn-helper m--1\">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-wms\/goods-issue\/goods-issue-using-shipping-boxes\/\" title=\"Goods issue using Shipping boxes\" class=\"mb-5 btn-wms btn m-1\">\n\t\tGoods issue using Shipping boxes<\/a><\/div><ul class=\"list-reset ml-3 list-icons list-custom-square list-wms\">\n\t<li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>EazyShipping from goods receipt<\/b>\t<\/li><\/ul><div class=\"ml-6 btn-helper m--1\">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-wms\/goods-issue\/goods-issue-from-the-goods-receipt-with-eazyshipping\/\" title=\"Goods issue from the goods receipt with EazyShipping\" class=\"mb-5 btn-wms btn m-1\">\n\t\tGoods issue from the goods receipt with EazyShipping<\/a><\/div>\t<p><b>The following steps are now carried out during packing:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-reset ml-3 list-icons list-custom-square list-wms\">\n\t<li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>Printing documents:<\/b> All documents required for the sales order are printed. It depends on several factors which documents are printed (destination country, value of goods, shipping method, &#8230;). Therefore, JTL-WMS has the <span class=\"highlight\">PackingBench\/WMS output<\/span> in which you can set exactly which documents should be printed for shipments. These documents are all printed on the default printer set in the <span class=\"highlight\">Workstation configuration<\/span>.\t<\/li><\/ul><div class=\"ml-6 btn-helper m--1\">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/jtl-wawi\/jtl-packtisch\/packtisch-wms-ausgabe-konfigurieren\/\" title=\"Setting up the output of shipping documents (PackingBench+\/WMS)\" class=\"mb-5 btn-wms btn m-1\">\n\t\tSetting up the output of shipping documents (PackingBench+\/WMS)<\/a><\/div><div class=\"ml-6 btn-helper m--1\">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/jtl-wms\/einstellungen\/dialogfenster-arbeitsplatz-konfigurieren\/\" title=\"Workstation settings \u2013 Printer\" class=\"mb-5 btn-wms btn m-1\">\n\t\tWorkstation settings \u2013 Printer<\/a><\/div><div class=\"media-object media-object-border d-flex align-items-top\">\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t<span class=\"mt-1 mr-3 flex-shrink-0 far fa-info-circle fa-2x columnsize-fa-2x text-wms\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t<span class=\"media-content border-wms\">\n\t\n\t\t\t<b>Please note:<\/b> If a comment is set for this sales order type in the PackingBench\/WMS output, this is displayed to the employee.\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"list-reset ml-3 list-icons list-custom-square list-wms\">\n\t<li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>Outbound posting for items:<\/b> An outbound posting is created for the items to be packed (contents if the box or the scanned items for EazyShipping).\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>Printing shipping labels:<\/b> In JTL-Wawi, there are settings for whether and how the shipping label is to be printed for each shipping method. There are the following options:\t<\/li><li class=\"ml-5\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>CSV export:<\/b> If the sales order has a shipping method for which a CSV file is to be exported, this file is then exported to the workstation configuration folder specified for that workstation. This file can now be processed by an external program.\t<\/li><li class=\"ml-5\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>Entering the tracking ID:<\/b> If a manual entry of the tracking ID is set for the shipping method, this is requested in a pop-up window.\t<\/li><li class=\"ml-10\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>Checking the tracking ID:<\/b> In the settings for the shipping method, a regular expression can be specified to which the entered tracking ID should correspond. If the entered ID does not correspond to the expression, an error message appears and the employee enters the ID again or cancels the input. This prevents incorrect labels or items labels from being scanned and sent to the end customer as a tracking ID.\t<\/li><li class=\"ml-10\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>Cropping the tracking ID:<\/b> For shipping methods, there is a setting that allows for the use of only a certain part of the tracking ID. This is required for DPD, for example. The bar code on the label also contains other information that are not part of the tracking code for the customer. From this bar code, only the characters 8 to 21 are required.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>The cleared goods are marked as shipped in the sales order.<\/b> If the sales order has been completely shipped now, it is marked accordingly.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>Email notification<\/b>: The recipient receives a shipping confirmation via email.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<b>If the sales order came from Amazon, eBay or an online shop, the sales order is reported as \u201cshipped\u201d to the respective platform.<\/b>\t<\/li><\/ul><div class=\"media-object media-object-border d-flex align-items-top\">\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t<span class=\"mt-1 mr-3 flex-shrink-0 far fa-info-circle fa-2x columnsize-fa-2x text-wms\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t<span class=\"media-content border-wms\">\n\t\n\t\t\t<b>Special situation with CSV exports:<\/b> With CSV exports, the sales order data is written to a CSV file on any network path. The data can then be read by an external program that takes over the printing of the shipping labels. Many of these programs can then write another CSV file which contains, among other things, the tracking ID. This file can be imported by JTL-Wawi and allows for matching the tracking ID to the sales order. In JTL-WMS, this import can be automated via an import service that checks the set paths for new files in the background. If automatic imports are configured for the shipping method, the email notification and the \u201cshipped\u201d message to Amazon, eBay or the online shop is held back until the matching file is imported and the tracking ID is known.\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"when-is-the-sales-order-marked-as-shipped\">When is the sales order marked as \u201cShipped\u201d? <span id='anchor-when-is-the-sales-order-marked-as-shipped' data-href='#when-is-the-sales-order-marked-as-shipped' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h2>\t<p>When the sales order is marked as <span class=\"highlight\">Shipped<\/span>, the respective platform (i.e. the online shop, Amazon or eBay) receives a confirmation. If applicable, the recipient also receives a shipping confirmation. A sales order is considered \u201cshipped\u201d in JTL-WMS when the following is valid for all packages of the sales order:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-reset ml-3 list-icons list-custom-square list-wms\">\n\t<li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tA tracking ID has been entered manually if the shipping method is set to manually entering the tracking ID after packing.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tThe tracking ID for the package was processed via shipping data import.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tThe shipping method is set to \u201cNo tracking ID required\u201d. In this case, each package is declared as \u201cshipped\u201d directly during packing.\t<\/li><\/ul>\t<p>The configuration for when and if a tracking ID is expected is set in JTL-Wawi in the respective shipping method.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;
