Your customer now tells you that they do not want individual items or even the entire purchase after all.\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t<p>In JTL-POS, you can carry out cancellations at different times during the checkout process:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-reset ml-3 list-icons list-custom-square list-pos\">\n\t<li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<strong>Line item cancellation:<\/strong> You can cancel an individual line item and remove it from the receipt directly during the checkout process.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<strong>Receipt cancellation:<\/strong> You can cancel an entire receipt during checkout. If required, you can define cancellation reasons for this, which will be prompted during cancellation.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<strong>Exchanges\/Returns:<\/strong> Exchanging and returning items are a special form of cancellation. As soon as there is at least one cancellation reason at line item or receipt level, the reason will be prompted and must be specified for a cancellation at the relevant level. This might be necessary if, for example, you have scanned the wrong item or if your customer decides at short notice not to take an item after all.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"list-reset step mb-5 list-pos normal-step\">\n\t<li >\n\tTo cancel a line item, simply swipe it to the left. That means that if the quantity for this line item is higher than 1, it will be completely removed. If you only want to reduce the quantity of a line item, tap the pen icon instead of the recycle bin icon and adjust the quantity. In this case, no cancellation will be logged.\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"cancelling-receipts\">Cancelling receipts <span id='anchor-cancelling-receipts' data-href='#cancelling-receipts' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h2>\t<p>Instead of individual items, you can also cancel an entire receipt. This makes sense, for example, if your customer backs out of the purchase before payment is made.<\/p>\n<div class=\"media-object media-object-border d-flex align-items-top\">\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t<span class=\"mt-1 mr-3 flex-shrink-0 far fa-info-circle fa-2x columnsize-fa-2x text-pos\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t<span class=\"media-content border-pos\">\n\t\n\t\t\t<span style=\"color: #336699;\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong><\/span> If your customer wants to cancel the purchase after the checkout, you must carry out a return\/an exchange. If you have defined at least one cancellation reason for receipts, the system will prompt you to select a cancellation reason.
