These postings are recorded in JTL-POS under <span class=\"highlight\">Cash deposits and cash withdrawals<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"posting-a-cash-withdrawal\">Posting a cash withdrawal <span id='anchor-posting-a-cash-withdrawal' data-href='#posting-a-cash-withdrawal' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h2><ol start=\"1\" class=\"list-reset step mb-5 list-pos normal-step\">\n\t<li >\n\tIn the upper right corner of JTL-POS, tap on the <span class=\"highlight\">three dots menu<\/span> and select the menu item <span class=\"highlight\">Cash deposits and cash withdrawals<\/span>. The <span class=\"highlight\">Cash deposits and cash withdrawals<\/span> dialogue box will open.<\/li><li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tSelect the option <span class=\"highlight\">Cash withdrawal<\/span>.<\/li><li >\n\tUnder <span class=\"highlight\">Posting reason<\/span>, select a relevant reason for the cash withdrawal, for example, <span class=\"highlight\">Withdrawal for bank<\/span>.<\/li><\/ol><div class=\"media-object media-object-border d-flex align-items-top\">\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t<span class=\"mt-1 mr-3 flex-shrink-0 far fa-info-circle fa-2x columnsize-fa-2x text-pos\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t<span class=\"media-content border-pos\">\n\t\n\t\t\t<span style=\"color: #336699;\"><strong>Info:<\/strong><\/span> JTL-POS already comes with standard posting reasons for cash withdrawals. These can be edited or added to in the <span class=\"highlight\">Manage posting reasons<\/span> dialogue box under the menu <span style=\"color: #336699;\"><a style=\"color: #336699;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-pos\/payments\/dialogue-box-manage-posting-reasons\/\">Settings &gt; Posting reasons<\/a><\/span>.\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"list-reset step mb-5 list-pos normal-step\">\n\t<li >\n\t<strong>Optional:<\/strong> In the field Posting text, you can enter additional information on the posting as free text.<\/li><li >\n\tInto the field <span class=\"highlight\">Total EUR<\/span>, enter the cash amount that you want to withdraw from the cash register.<\/li><li >\n\t<strong>Optional:<\/strong> The option <span class=\"highlight\">Print receipt<\/span> is activated by default. If this option is enabled, a confirmation record of the cash withdrawal is printed, and the cash drawer opens so that you can take the cash out of the drawer.
