You would like to increase the cash amount via a deposit from the bank.\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t<p>Withdrawals and deposits of cash that are not part of a checkout process must also be recorded and documented in the cash register. These postings are recorded in JTL-POS under <span class=\"highlight\">Cash deposits and cash withdrawals<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"posting-a-cash-deposit\">Posting a cash deposit <span id='anchor-posting-a-cash-deposit' data-href='#posting-a-cash-deposit' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h2><ol start=\"1\" class=\"list-reset step mb-5 list-pos normal-step\">\n\t<li >\n\tIn the upper right-hand corner of JTL-POS, tap on the <span class=\"highlight\">three dots menu<\/span> and select the <span class=\"highlight\">Cash deposits and cash withdrawals<\/span> menu item. These can be edited, renamed or added to in the <span class=\"highlight\">Manage posting reasons<\/span> dialogue box under the menu <span style=\"color: #336699;\"><a style=\"color: #336699;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-pos\/payments\/dialogue-box-manage-posting-reasons\/\">Settings &gt; Posting reasons<\/a><\/span>.\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"list-reset step mb-5 list-pos normal-step\">\n\t<li >\n\t<strong>Optional:<\/strong> In the field <span class=\"highlight\">Posting text<\/span>, you can enter additional information on the posting as free text.<\/li><li >\n\tIn the <span class=\"highlight\">Total EUR<\/span> field, enter the cash amount that you would like to deposit into the cash register.<\/li><li >\n\t<strong>Optional:<\/strong> The option <span class=\"highlight\">Print receipt<\/span> is activated by default. If this option is enabled, a confirmation of the cash deposit will be printed and the cash drawer will open so that you can deposit the cash into the register.
