During checkout, you can select the appropriate VAT tax rate.<\/p>\n<div class=\"media-object media-object-border d-flex align-items-top\">\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t<span class=\"mt-1 mr-3 flex-shrink-0 far fa-info-circle fa-2x columnsize-fa-2x text-pos\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t<span class=\"media-content border-pos\">\n\t\n\t\t\tIf you enable the <span class=\"highlight\">Allow selection of \u201cEat in tax\u201d or \u201cTake out tax\u201d<\/span> option in the master data of an item, you can then select the appropriate tax rate for this line item when needed.\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-pos\" id=\"eat-in-tax\">Eat in tax <span id='anchor-eat-in-tax' data-href='#eat-in-tax' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p><strong>Name of \u201cEat in tax\u201d:<\/strong> Here, you can enter a name for the tax rate \u201cEat in\u201d.<span class=\"highlight\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><strong>Tax rate:<\/strong> Select the tax rate from the drop-down menu. You can create your own tax rates in the <span style=\"color: #336699;\"><a style=\"color: #336699;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-pos\/setup\/dialogue-box-manage-tax-rates\/\">Manage tax rates<\/a><\/span>&nbsp;dialogue box.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-pos\" id=\"take-out-tax\">Take out tax <span id='anchor-take-out-tax' data-href='#take-out-tax' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p><strong>Name of \u201cTake out tax\u201d:<\/strong> Enter a unique name for the \u201cTake out\u201d tax rate to make it easier for your cashier to select the right tax rate during checkout.
