These user groups are granted all rights without restriction. Users with these rights can modify the settings in all of the dialogue boxes that fall under this menu item.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><b>Edit email settings:\u00a0<\/b>This option gives the user group access to all settings in the <span class=\"highlight\">Emails<\/span> submenu under Settings, i.e. the <span style=\"color: #336699;\"><a style=\"color: #336699;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-pos\/setup\/dialogue-box-manage-email-server\/\">Email servers<\/a><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #336699;\"><a style=\"color: #336699;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-pos\/setup\/dialogue-box-manage-recipients\/\">Recipient<\/a><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #336699;\"><a style=\"color: #336699;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-pos\/setup\/dialogue-box-manage-email-templates\/\">Email templates<\/a><\/span> menu items. Users with these rights can modify the settings in all of the dialogue boxes that fall under these menu items.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><b>Set up and edit printers:\u00a0<\/b>This option gives the user group access to the <span class=\"highlight\">Printer<\/span> menu item in the main menu of JTL-POS. They can, therefore, open the <span style=\"color: #336699;\"><a style=\"color: #336699;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-pos\/customers-2\/dialogue-box-manage-customer-groups\/\">Manage printers<\/a><\/span> dialogue box. Users can connect new printers or edit existing printer settings.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><b>Connect and edit JTL-POS\u00a0CustomerDisplay:\u00a0<\/b>This option gives the user group access to the <span class=\"highlight\">Displays<\/span> menu item in the main menu of JTL-POS. They can, therefore, open the <span style=\"color: #336699;\"><a style=\"color: #336699;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-pos\/hardware\/dialogue-box-manage-displays\/\">Manage displays<\/a><\/span> dialogue box. Users can connect new displays or change existing settings for a display.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><b>View notifications:\u00a0<\/b>This option gives the user group access to the <span class=\"highlight\">Notifications<\/span> menu item in the main menu of JTL-POS. This means that they can open the <span class=\"highlight\">All notifications<\/span> dialogue box and view messages there.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><b>Edit connection data\u00a0<\/b>: This option gives the user group access to all settings in the <span style=\"color: #336699;\"><a style=\"color: #336699;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-pos\/setup\/dialogue-box-data-synchronisation-with-jtl-wawi\/\">Data synchronisation with JTL-Wawi<\/a><\/span> dialogue box. With these rights, users can connect JTL-POS to JTL-Wawi. Read more here: <span style=\"color: #336699;\"><a style=\"color: #336699;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-pos\/setup\/connecting-jtl-pos-to-jtl-wawi\/\">Connecting JTL-POS to JTL-Wawi<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><b>Edit TSS settings: <\/b>This option gives the user group access to all the settings in the <span class=\"highlight\">Edit Technical Safety System<\/span> dialogue box. Information on the Technical Safety System (TSS) in JTL-POS can be found under <span style=\"color: #336699;\"><a style=\"color: #336699;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-pos\/hardware\/\">Hardware<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><b>Open JTL-Customer\u00a0Centre:\u00a0<\/b>This option gives the user group access to the <span class=\"highlight\">JTL-Customer\u00a0Centre<\/span> in the main JTL-POS menu. The user can use this menu item to open the JTL-Customer\u00a0Centre directly in a web browser. However, they need the access data to the JTL-Customer\u00a0Centre to log in.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-pos\" id=\"items\">Items <span id='anchor-items' data-href='#items' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p><strong>Create and edit items:<\/strong> This option gives the user group access to the\u00a0<span class=\"highlight\">Items<\/span>\u00a0menu item in the main menu of JTL-POS.\u00a0Users can view and change most item data as well as create new items.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><strong>Delete items<\/strong>: Users can delete items. The <span class=\"highlight\">Create and edit items<\/span> option must also be enabled for this.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><strong>View purchase prices:<\/strong> Users can view and edit the purchase prices of items. The <span class=\"highlight\">Create and edit items<\/span> option must also be enabled for this.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-pos\" id=\"categories\">Categories <span id='anchor-categories' data-href='#categories' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p><strong>Create and edit categories:<\/strong> This option gives the user group access to\u00a0<span class=\"highlight\">Items<\/span> in the main menu of JTL-POS. Users can create and edit categories. They will also be able to view all the items in a given category. To be able to also edit the items, the option <span class=\"highlight\">Create and edit items<\/span> must also be enabled.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><strong>Delete categories:<\/strong> Users can delete categories. To do this, the category must not contain any items or subcategories. Users might need additional rights such as <span class=\"highlight\">Create and edit items<\/span> or <span class=\"highlight\">Delete items<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-pos\" id=\"configurator\">Configurator <span id='anchor-configurator' data-href='#configurator' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p><strong>Create and edit configurations:<\/strong> This option gives the user group access to the\u00a0<span class=\"highlight\">Configurator<\/span> in the main menu of JTL-POS. Users can create and edit configurations.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><strong>Delete configurations:<\/strong> Users can delete configurations. In addition, the <span class=\"highlight\">Create and edit configurations<\/span> option must be activated.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-pos\" id=\"customers\">Customers <span id='anchor-customers' data-href='#customers' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p><strong>Create and edit customers:<\/strong> This option gives the user group access to\u00a0<span class=\"highlight\">Customers<\/span> in the main menu of JTL-POS. Users can create and edit customer data records.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><strong>Delete customers:<\/strong> Users can delete customer records. To do this, the <span class=\"highlight\">Create and edit customers<\/span> option must also be enabled.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-pos\" id=\"receipts\">Receipts <span id='anchor-receipts' data-href='#receipts' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p><b>Create and edit receipts: <\/b>Enables the <span class=\"highlight\">New receipt<\/span> and <span class=\"highlight\">All receipts<\/span> buttons in the Cashier view. Without this option, the user group cannot create receipts. In order to be able to create orders, the <span class=\"highlight\">Collect money for receipts<\/span> option must also be activated.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><b>Grant discounts for receipts: <\/b>Enables the <span class=\"highlight\">Assign discount<\/span> option in the receipt menu. This option allows users to apply a predefined discount to the receipt. The <span class=\"highlight\">Create and edit receipts<\/span> option must also be activated for this.<\/p>\n<div class=\"media-object media-object-border d-flex align-items-top\">\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t<span class=\"mt-1 mr-3 flex-shrink-0 far fa-info-circle fa-2x columnsize-fa-2x text-pos\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t<span class=\"media-content border-pos\">\n\t\n\t\t\tDiscounts predefined in the discount settings for customers, categories, and customer groups can also be applied by users who otherwise do not have this right.\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><b>Collect money for receipts: <\/b>Enables the <span class=\"highlight\">Go to checkout<\/span> button in the Cashier view. With this option, users can collect payment for a receipt with pre-defined payment methods. The <span class=\"highlight\">Create and edit receipts<\/span> option must also be activated for this.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><b>Cancel receipts:<\/b> Enables the <span class=\"highlight\">Cancel receipts<\/span> option in the receipt menu. Use this option to cancel a receipt.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><strong>Cash deposits and cash withdrawals:<\/strong> Users can make <span style=\"color: #336699;\"><a style=\"color: #336699;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-pos\/payments\/posting-cash-deposits\/\">cash deposits<\/a><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #336699;\"><a style=\"color: #336699;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-pos\/payments\/posting-cash-withdrawals\/\">cash withdrawals<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<hr  \/>\n\t<p><strong>Enter price:<\/strong> Activates the <span class=\"highlight\">Enter price<\/span> option in the Direct entry view.
