Read more on this topic: <span style=\"color: #f68b25;\"><a style=\"color: #f68b25;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-wawi\/installation\/securing-the-sql-server-connection-of-jtl-wawi-with-ssl\/#sa-passwort-aendern\">Adjusting the sa password<\/a><\/span>.\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi h6\">JTL-Wawi<\/p>\t<p>The username is <b>admin<\/b>&nbsp;and the password is <b>pass<\/b>.<\/p>\n\t<p>If you cannot find your JTL-Wawi admin login data, you can reset it via the database command line:<\/p>\n\t<p>Open the command line via <span class=\"highlight\">START &gt; Ausf\u00fchren<\/span>\u00a0(START &gt; Run). The command can only be executed directly on the server but not on the clients.\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<div data-ai=\"split\">\n\t<p>You can now log in to the admin account with the new password.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"can-i-use-mysql-as-an-sql-server\">Can I use mySQL as an SQL server? <span id='anchor-can-i-use-mysql-as-an-sql-server' data-href='#can-i-use-mysql-as-an-sql-server' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3><div data-ai=\"split\">\n\t<p>No, mySQL cannot be used with JTL-Wawi. There are some differences between the various data types and SQL commands of MS SQL and mySQL.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"deinstalling-microsoft-sql-server-express\">Deinstalling Microsoft SQL Server Express <span id='anchor-deinstalling-microsoft-sql-server-express' data-href='#deinstalling-microsoft-sql-server-express' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p>A current WinRar version is required! You can obtain it <a class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rarlab.com\/download.htm\"  target='_blank' rel='noopener noreferrer' rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\t<p>Select the file <b>SQLEXPR_DEU.exe<\/b> in the setup folder <b>SQL-Server&nbsp;<\/b> by double-clicking and select <span class=\"highlight\">Entpacken in SQLEXPR_DEU<\/span>&nbsp;(Extract to SQLEXPR_DEU) (This is a RAR archive). The file will now be extracted. Next, copy the new folder <b> SQLEXPR_DEU<\/b> to C:\\.<\/p>\n\t<p>Go to the Command Prompt (<span class=\"highlight\">Start&nbsp;&gt; Run&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;\u00bbcmd.exe\u00ab<\/span>).<br \/>\nWith the command cd \\SQLEXPR_DEU you now switch to the folder with the extracted files.<\/p>\n\t<p>You can then remove the SQL server with this setup call:<\/p>\n\t<p><b>start \/wait setup.exe \/qn REMOVE=All INSTANCENAME=JTLWAWI<\/b><\/p>\n\t<p>This process may take a few minutes.<\/p>\n<div data-ai=\"split\">\n\t<p>Alternatively, you can uninstall Microsoft SQL Server in the <b>Control Panel<\/b> under <b>Programs and Features<\/b>. If there are several instances of the SQL Server, we recommend using the first method, as it only uninstalls the JTLWAWI instance. Other instances used by different programs remain unchanged.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"settings-and-workflows\">Settings and workflows <span id='anchor-settings-and-workflows' data-href='#settings-and-workflows' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h2><h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi h4\" id=\"connecting-to-several-database-servers-with-one-client\">Connecting to several database servers with one client <span id='anchor-connecting-to-several-database-servers-with-one-client' data-href='#connecting-to-several-database-servers-with-one-client' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3><div data-ai=\"split\">\n\t<p>To address several SQL servers with one client, you need to create an individual profile for each SQL server in the JTL-Wawi database administration. During the start of JTL-Wawi, you can choose the profile with the SQL server to which you want to connect.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"error-messages\">Error messages <span id='anchor-error-messages' data-href='#error-messages' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h2><h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center h4\" id=\"issue-with-windows-7-windows-server-2008-and-internet-explorer-10\">Issue with Windows 7\/Windows Server 2008 and Internet Explorer 10 <span id='anchor-issue-with-windows-7-windows-server-2008-and-internet-explorer-10' data-href='#issue-with-windows-7-windows-server-2008-and-internet-explorer-10' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3><div class=\"media-object media-object-border d-flex align-items-top\">\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t<span class=\"mt-1 mr-3 flex-shrink-0 far fa-info-circle fa-2x columnsize-fa-2x text-wawi\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t<span class=\"media-content border-wawi\">\n\t\n\t\t\t<span style=\"color: #f68b25;\"><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/span> As of JTL-Wawi 1.4, SQL server 2008 will no longer be supported.\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\t<p>With Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, issues may arise with the online shop synchronisation\/JTL-Worker and Internet Explorer 10. If the synchronisation\/Worker freezes after some time, you must implement a Microsoft fix.<\/p>\n\t<p>You can find the hotfix at&nbsp;: <a class=\"external free\" href=\"http:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/kb\/2465772\"  target='_blank' rel='noopener noreferrer' rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/kb\/2465772<\/a><\/p>\n<div data-ai=\"split\">\n\t<p>If the problem persists after the hotfix has been installed, the only solution is to uninstall Internet Explorer 10. It is not enough to merely deactivate Internet Explorer 10. Windows 7: Go to <span class=\"highlight\">Control Panel &gt; Programs and Features<\/span> and select <span class=\"highlight\">View installed updates<\/span>. Find the update for Internet Explorer 10 and uninstall the update. Because this may take some time, the deinstallation should be performed at the end of the workday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"jtlwawidll-or-jtlmiscdll-cannot-be-opened\">JTLwawi.dll or JTLmisc.dll cannot be opened <span id='anchor-jtlwawidll-or-jtlmiscdll-cannot-be-opened' data-href='#jtlwawidll-or-jtlmiscdll-cannot-be-opened' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t<div data-gallery>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/uploads\/Jtl_wawi_dll.png\" itemprop=\"contentUrl\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/uploads\/Jtl_wawi_dll.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/uploads\/Jtl_wawi_dll.png 1600w,https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/uploads\/Jtl_wawi_dll.png 1024w,https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/uploads\/Jtl_wawi_dll.png 640w\" width=\"335\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 20em) 30vw, (max-width: 30em) 60vw, (max-width: 40em) 90vw\" height=\"198\" data-pswp=\"{&quot;src&quot;:&quot;https:\\\/\\\/guide.jtl-software.com\\\/uploads\\\/Jtl_wawi_dll.png&quot;,&quot;w&quot;:335,&quot;h&quot;:198}\" class=\"img-fluid mb-5\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div data-ai=\"split\">\n\t<p>If this error is displayed, a DLL file required by JTL-Wawi could not be registered. These files change during every update of JTL-Wawi and therefore must always be re-registered. Generally, the installation process undertakes the registration, but occasionally issues can occur.<\/p>\n<p>To correct the error, check whether the Microsoft .NET Framework has been installed correctly.&nbsp;&nbsp;Here you can find out which version of JTL-Wawi is currently required: <span style=\"color: #f68b25;\"><a class=\"external-link\" style=\"color: #f68b25;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-wawi\/installation\/system-requirements-for-all-jtl-products\/\"  target='_blank' rel='noopener noreferrer' rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">System requirements for JTL-Wawi<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>If the .NET Framework is installed correctly, reinstalling JTL-Wawi should solve the problem.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 data-ai=\"exclude-start\" class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"database-not-found\">Database not found <span id='anchor-database-not-found' data-href='#database-not-found' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p>If issues with the SQL database occur, please proceed as follows:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"list-reset step mb-5 list-wawi normal-step\">\n\t<li >\n\tIn <span class=\"highlight\">Control Panel &gt; Administrative Tools &gt; Services<\/span>,&nbsp;check whether the service&nbsp;<span class=\"highlight\">SQL Server (JTLWAWI)<\/span> has been started.<\/li><li >\n\tCheck whether the database files <b>eazybusiness.mdf<\/b> and <b>eazybusiness_log.ldf<\/b> are present.<\/li><\/ol>\t<p>SQL database: c:\\programme\\microsoft sql server\\mssql.1\\mssql\\data<\/p>\n\t<p>If there are several instances of the Microsoft SQL Express Server, the folder may vary from mssql.1 and be, for example, mssql.2, etc. instead.<\/p>\n\t<p>If eazybusiness_log.ldf is missing, please end the service and send a support ticket with an error description and the attached eazybusiness.mdf file (zipped) to JTL. You can also try generating the file yourself.<\/p>\n\t<p>This is how you can test the SQL server and the database:<\/p>\n\t<p>Go to <span class=\"highlight\">Start&gt; Run&gt; cmd.exe<\/span> and enter all <strong>bold<\/strong> commands.<\/p>\n\t<p>If everything is correct, it should look like this (after -S, write the server name as described in 2).<\/p>\n\t<p><b>osql -S (local)\\JTLWAWI -U sa -P sa04jT14 -d master<\/b><\/p>\n\t<p>First enter <b>use eazybusiness<\/b>, then <b>go<\/b>, then <b>quit<\/b>.<\/p>\n<div data-ai=\"exclude-end\">\n\t<p>If any errors occur, please send us a support ticket with a screenshot (JPG).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"missing-eazybusinesslogldf-file\">Missing eazybusiness_log.ldf file <span id='anchor-missing-eazybusinesslogldf-file' data-href='#missing-eazybusinesslogldf-file' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p>The following paragraph describes how to generate the log file for the eazybusiness database for&nbsp;<b>MSDE<\/b>.<\/p>\n\t<p>First, log in to the SQL server with&nbsp;<strong>osql -D eazy -U sa -P sa04jt14 -d master<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\t<p>Now execute the following commands (<b>in bold<\/b>):<\/p>\n\t<p>1) Reset the status:<\/p>\n<p><b>EXEC sp_resetstatus &#8216;eazybusiness&#8217;<\/b><\/p>\n<p>2) Set the database property to \u201callow updates\u201d:<\/p>\n<p><b>exec sp_configure &#8216;allow updates&#8217;, 1 RECONFIGURE WITH OVERRIDE<\/b><\/p>\n<p>3) Set the database to \u201cEmergency Mode\u201d:<\/p>\n<p><b>UPDATE master..sysdatabases SET status=-32768 WHERE name=&#8217;eazybusiness&#8217;<\/b><\/p>\n<p>4) Rebuild the database log file:<\/p>\n<p><b>dbcc rebuild_log (&#8216;eazybusiness&#8217;,&#8217;C:\\Programme\\Microsoft SQL Server\\MSSQL$EAZYSALES\\Data\\eazybusiness_log.LDF&#8217;)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>5) Check database:<\/p>\n<p><b>DBCC CHECKDB(&#8216;eazybusiness&#8217;)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>6) Reset the status:<\/p>\n<p><b>UPDATE master..sysdatabases SET status = 0 WHERE name=&#8217;eazybusiness&#8217;<\/b><\/p>\n<div data-ai=\"split\">\n\t<p>Every command must be confirmed with <b>go<\/b>!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"activating-sql-log-file\">Activating SQL log file <span id='anchor-activating-sql-log-file' data-href='#activating-sql-log-file' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p>It is easier to analyse SQL-related errors in JTL-Wawi, especially SQL Error -1 performing exec, if there is an SQL log file. The settings of the ODBC connection can be adjusted under <span class=\"highlight\">Start &gt; Control Panel &gt; Administrative Tools &gt; OBCD data sources<\/span>. Important: On 64-bit Windows systems, the ODBC connection must be started under C:\\Windows\\SysWOW64\\odbcad32.exe!<\/p>\n\t<p>There, select the tab <span class=\"highlight\">Tracing&nbsp;<\/span> and specify the storage location for the log file. Then click <span class=\"highlight\">Start tracing now<\/span>.<\/p>\n\t<p>Exit JTL-Wawi and restart the software. Reproduce the error.<\/p>\n<div data-ai=\"split\">\n\t<p>Afterwards, deactivate tracing to avoid slowing down JTL-Wawi.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"error-message-user-has-no-rights-to-access-this-tenant\">Error message: User has no rights to access this tenant <span id='anchor-error-message-user-has-no-rights-to-access-this-tenant' data-href='#error-message-user-has-no-rights-to-access-this-tenant' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p>This message is shown when you create a new tenant in JTL-Wawi. The dialogue box <span class=\"highlight\">Benutzer anlegen \/ bearbeiten und Login-Daten einrichten<\/span>\u00a0(Create\/Edit users and setup login data) opens.<\/li><li >\n\tIn the pane <span class=\"highlight\">Firma \/ Mandant<\/span>\u00a0(Company\/Tenant), select the newly created tenant.
