You also want to reduce the required process steps. You therefore use a packing cart of your shipping service provider for picking, to which you have attached a portable device containing the hardware needed for the Mobile PackingBench process. During route-optimised picking, the items are then made ready for shipping directly on the packing cart. Afterwards, the packing cart can be handed to the shipping service provider without further detours.\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"media-object media-object-border d-flex align-items-top\">\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t<span class=\"mt-1 mr-3 flex-shrink-0 far fa-info-circle fa-2x columnsize-fa-2x text-wms\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t<span class=\"media-content border-wms\">\n\t\n\t\t\t<span class=\"highlight\">The process is also highly relevant for sales orders with several line items if the storage section in which picking takes place is rather small and items are stored close to each other.<\/span><br \/>\r\nAs picking is performed per sales order, the process is ill-suited for sales orders with many line items, for picking in large warehouses or storage sections, or when the distance between items is too great. This would only lead to unnecessary legwork.
