\n\t\tYou use JTL-Wawi to sell goods for which you need a classification into specific tax classes. You would now like to add relevant new tax classes in JTL-Wawi.\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Creating tax classes <\/span><\/h2>\t

Tax classes<\/b> are the names of individual tax rates that you can create in this menu (e.g. standard tax rate, reduced tax rate, tax-free, etc.).<\/p>\n

    \n\t
  1. \n\tGo to the Admin<\/span> menu and select the menu item Taxes > Tax classes<\/span>. The dialogue box Create\/edit tax classes<\/span> opens.<\/li>
  2. \n\tClick New<\/span>. Enter a suitable name.<\/li>
  3. \n\tUnder Type<\/span>, choose a typification for the tax class. Each typification can be assigned to exactly one tax class. The exception is No typification<\/span>, which can be selected several times.<\/li><\/ol>\t

    Typification:<\/b> Typification simplifies tax configuration. Once a typification has been assigned to a tax class and you create a new company for a shipping country, JTL-Wawi will check whether there is a typification for the specified tax class. With the typification, tax rates can then be allocated automatically. If this is not the case, for example if you did not assign a typification, you can always adjust the tax rates manually in the tax administration. Further reading on this topic:<\/p>\n
