<span id='anchor-what-is-the-difference-between-traffic-and-web-space' data-href='#what-is-the-difference-between-traffic-and-web-space' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p>Traffic includes the traffic (down- and upload) of your hosting. This is, for example, the amount of data that is exchanged between JTL-Wawi and JTL-Shop during the online shop synchronisation. Every page view of your JTL-Shop by a visitor or the receipt of an email causes traffic.<\/p>\n\t<p>Webspace describes the amount of data that you store in your hosting. This includes the database, emails, images, documents, etc.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"what-is-an-ssl-certificate\">What is an SSL certificate? <span id='anchor-what-is-an-ssl-certificate' data-href='#what-is-an-ssl-certificate' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p>An SSL certificate is a hybrid encryption protocol for secure data transmission on the Internet that can simultaneously ensure the authenticity of JTL-Shop. This ensures that no third party reads the data exchange, for example in the ordering process between your online shop and your customers.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"are-third-party-systems-allowed\">Are third-party systems allowed? <span id='anchor-are-third-party-systems-allowed' data-href='#are-third-party-systems-allowed' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p>Third-party systems (e.g. WordPress, Joomla, Typo3) are not allowed in JTL-Shop Hosting. Vulnerabilities in these systems can affect your online shop as well as the server and thus pose a potential risk. Only LiveZilla and Matomo may be used with JTL-Shop Hosting. We do not, however, offer support for these systems.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"the-right-use-of-passwords\">The right use of passwords <span id='anchor-the-right-use-of-passwords' data-href='#the-right-use-of-passwords' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3><ul class=\"list-reset ml-3 list-icons list-custom-square list-shop\">\n\t<li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tA minimum of 10 characters; 12-16 characters are ideal.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tUse a mixture of the following characters: Lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers, and symbols.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tAvoid duplicate use of passwords. Once an attacker has discovered one password, they have access to all accesses.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tDo not use words or a combination of words. Attackers often work with dictionary attacks!\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tNever store passwords in plain text, for example in a text file. Malware is able to read this data.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tMake sure that your computers that access email\/FTP or th elike are free of malware. Keyloggers are also able to capture all keystrokes!\t<\/li><\/ul>\t<p>With a program like KeePass, you can back up passwords in an encrypted database. All you have to do is remember the master password. KeePass can also generate secure passwords for you. The program is free and available for different platforms.&nbsp;<a class=\"external free\" href=\"http:\/\/keepass.info\/\"  target='_blank' rel='noopener noreferrer' rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/keepass.info\/<\/a><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"can-i-move-my-jtl-shop-to-the-server-of-jtl-shop-hosting-myself\">Can I move my JTL-Shop to the server of JTL-Shop Hosting myself? <span id='anchor-can-i-move-my-jtl-shop-to-the-server-of-jtl-shop-hosting-myself' data-href='#can-i-move-my-jtl-shop-to-the-server-of-jtl-shop-hosting-myself' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p>We advise against attempting to transfer a JTL-Shop from a third party provider to JTL-Shop Hosting.<br \/>\nFor this purpose, we offer a&nbsp;<strong>third-party shop transfer service<\/strong>,&nbsp;which includes the transmission of the shop database and the shop files of<br \/>\nyour current hosting provider to JTL-Shop Hosting as well as the adjustment of configurations and file permissions that are<br \/>\nneeded to run the online shop.<\/p>\n<div class=\"media-object media-object-border d-flex align-items-top\">\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t<span class=\"mt-1 mr-3 flex-shrink-0 far fa-info-circle fa-2x columnsize-fa-2x text-shop\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t<span class=\"media-content border-shop\">\n\t\n\t\t\t<span style=\"color: #5cbcf6;\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong><\/span> This is a fee-based service on our part, which costs <strong>EUR\u202f99 (net)<\/strong>.\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\t<p>We would like to point out that you are responsible for backing up your emails, databases and the web space (this concerns the<br \/>\nbackup as an archive); taking over the email accounts and their content is&nbsp;<strong>not<\/strong>&nbsp;possible.<br \/>\nFurthermore, we cannot accept any liability for errors that are already present in your JTL-Shop and may not be obvious.<br \/>\nThis includes errors that have arisen during the setup, updates or other adjustments in the JTL-Shop.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"i-have-received-an-email-resource-consumption-limits-on-the-web-server-reached-90-what-should-i-do\">I have received an email: \u201cResource consumption limits on the web server reached 90%\u201d. What should I do? <span id='anchor-i-have-received-an-email-resource-consumption-limits-on-the-web-server-reached-90-what-should-i-do' data-href='#i-have-received-an-email-resource-consumption-limits-on-the-web-server-reached-90-what-should-i-do' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h3>\t<p>If you receive an email informing you that the web space of your hosting is 90% full, you should<br \/>\nreguarly check the available space for your hosting. As soon as it is 100% full, the hosting will automatically be blocked.<br \/>\nConsumption data is updated twice a day: between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 and 7:00 p.m.<br \/>\nWhat you can do now to expand your web space:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-reset ml-3 list-icons list-custom-square list-shop\">\n\t<li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tRegularly clean up your web space (e.g. delete backups and images that are no longer needed) and your email accounts (delete emails that are no longer needed).
