The TSS has failed and you now want to export the failure data.\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"legal-requirements\">Legal requirements <span id='anchor-legal-requirements' data-href='#legal-requirements' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h2>\t<p>In the event of failure of the certified technical safety system, you must observe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bundesfinanzministerium.de\/Content\/DE\/Downloads\/BMF_Schreiben\/Weitere_Steuerthemen\/Abgabenordnung\/AO-Anwendungserlass\/2019-06-17-einfuehrung-paragraf-146a-AO-anwendungserlass-zu-paragraf-146a-AO.pdf?__blob=publicationFile&amp;v=4\">Anwendungserlass zur Abgabenordnung (AEAO)<\/a>, the general guidelines for fiscal authorities on how to interpret fiscal laws. For users of a TSS, \u00a7 146a in particular applies. The following regulations apply to TSS fails:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-reset ml-3 list-icons list-custom-square list-pos\">\n\t<li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tYou must document TSS downtimes and their reasons. This documentation can also be automated by an electronic recording system (JTL-POS).\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tIf you keep using JTL-POS without the TSS, the failure must be visible on the respective recording document, e.g. by missing transaction numbers or other means of identification.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tEven if the TSS fails, the document output obligation remains. The document details for date and time must be provided by JTL-POS in this case.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tThe document output obligation is only eliminated in the event of a complete failure of JTL-POS or failure of the printing and transmission unit. If the printing and transmission unit fails, you must continue using JTL-POS.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tYou must immediately remedy the cause(s) of the failure or initiate measures to remedy it.\t<\/li><\/ul><h2 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"automatic-documentation-of-failures\">Automatic documentation of failures <span id='anchor-automatic-documentation-of-failures' data-href='#automatic-documentation-of-failures' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h2>\t<p>On the basis of \u00a7 146, No. 7 of the AEAO, JTL-POS records each TSS failure in its own database according to the legal requirements. In the case of a tax audit, the documented failures can be issued by the tax office and assigned quickly and easily by the auditor on the basis of the export.<\/p>\n<p>All you have to do is put the technical safety system into operation. Subsequently, the failures are recorded automatically and cannot be switched off.<\/p>\n<p>The following data is stored in a tamper-proof manner (<strong>title in CSV<\/strong> and description):<\/p>\n\t<p><strong>TSS manufacturer:<\/strong> The manufacturer of the technical safety system<\/p>\n<p><strong>TSS serial No:<\/strong> The serial number of the technical safety system<\/p>\n<p><strong>Receipt ID:<\/strong> The receipt number of the relevant receipt<\/p>\n<p><strong>Failure date:<\/strong> The time of the failure\/action<\/p>\n<p><strong>Failure number*:<\/strong> The number of the failure. The number is automatically incremented, is linked to the serial number of the technical safety system and cannot be reset.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Failure code:<\/strong> The reason for the failure<\/p>\n<p><strong>Failure number Receipt:<\/strong> The number of receipts affected by this failure. The receipts can thus be unambiguously assigned to a downtime and reason. JTL-POS therefore fulfils both requirements:<\/p>\n<p>If the transaction number of the TSS is missing, the failure is displayed clearly and is numbered. If JTL-POS does not receive feedback from the TSS, the content of this variable is replaced by the failure information. <strong>If the variable is not embedded, no failure information is displayed and the legal requirements are not met.<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"failure-and-troubleshooting-documents\">Failure and troubleshooting documents <span id='anchor-failure-and-troubleshooting-documents' data-href='#failure-and-troubleshooting-documents' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h2>\t<p>In order to additionally minimise the effort of internal documentation and communication for merchants, JTL-POS creates two receipts, one for each failure and another one for re-connection, i.e. successful troubleshooting.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-reset ml-3 list-icons list-custom-square list-pos\">\n\t<li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<strong>Failure record:<\/strong> Is printed when the technical safety system fails or cannot be reached\r\n<div class=\"content-wrapper\"><\/div>\r\n\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<strong>Troubleshooting document:<\/strong> Is printed when the technical safety system has been reconnected and is reachable again.\t<\/li><\/ul>\t<p>The content or the print template of failure and troubleshooting records is specified by JTL-POS and cannot be changed.<\/p>\n<p>The output of the failure and troubleshooting records is automatically activated after a technical safety system has been set up.<\/p>\n<p>You can also deactivate the output:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"list-reset step mb-5 list-pos normal-step\">\n\t<li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tIn the main menu, open the menu item <span class=\"highlight\">Settings &gt; Technical safety system.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tTap the <span class=\"highlight\">pen<\/span> icon to edit the TSS settings.<\/li><li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tEnable the option <span class=\"highlight\">Print failure records<\/span>.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t<div data-gallery>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/uploads\/print-failure-records-jtl-pos-tss.png\" itemprop=\"contentUrl\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/uploads\/print-failure-records-jtl-pos-tss-1024x613.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/uploads\/print-failure-records-jtl-pos-tss.png 1600w,https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/uploads\/print-failure-records-jtl-pos-tss-1024x613.png 1024w,https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/uploads\/print-failure-records-jtl-pos-tss-768x460.png 640w\" width=\"1024\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 20em) 30vw, (max-width: 30em) 60vw, (max-width: 40em) 90vw\" height=\"613\" data-pswp=\"{&quot;src&quot;:&quot;https:\\\/\\\/guide.jtl-software.com\\\/uploads\\\/print-failure-records-jtl-pos-tss.png&quot;,&quot;w&quot;:1207,&quot;h&quot;:723}\" class=\"border img-fluid mb-5\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"exporting-failure-data\">Exporting failure data <span id='anchor-exporting-failure-data' data-href='#exporting-failure-data' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h2>\t<p>In the course of a tax audit by the tax office, the responsible auditor will want to see all information about the TSS failures, for which purpose you can export the TSS failure log.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"list-reset step mb-5 list-pos normal-step\">\n\t<li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tIn the main menu, open the menu item <span class=\"highlight\">Import\/Export (CSV)<\/span>.<\/li><li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tTap on the <span class=\"highlight\">Export posting data<\/span> tab.<\/li><li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tSelect the period for which you want to export the data.<\/li><li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tTap on <span class=\"highlight\">Failure log<\/span>.<\/li><li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tSelect a storage location.<\/li><li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tStart the export via <span class=\"highlight\">Start export<\/span>.<\/li><\/ol>\t<p>The title of the exported CSV file starts with Ausfallbelege_* (Failure records) and is supplemented by the selected period of time.
