With the cash book, you get an overview of how much cash was given to you and handed out by you as well as the amount of cash in your cash register. The difference to the day-end closing is that the day-end closing is a daily report while the cash book represents a complete log of all (cash) transactions for a previously specified period.<\/p>\n<p>With the option <span class=\"highlight\">Create cash book for all records<\/span>, you can also create a cash book across all payment methods.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-5 d-flex align-items-center hl-pos\" id=\"creating-a-cash-book-for-cash-payments\">Creating a cash book for cash payments <span id='anchor-creating-a-cash-book-for-cash-payments' data-href='#creating-a-cash-book-for-cash-payments' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h2><ol start=\"1\" class=\"list-reset step mb-5 list-pos normal-step\">\n\t<li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tOpen the menu and select <span class=\"highlight\">Cash book<\/span>.<\/li><li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tIn the <span class=\"highlight\">Dates<\/span> area, you can use the drop-down menu to select the desired period.<\/li><li >\n\tIn the <span class=\"highlight\">Output method<\/span> section, select whether you want to save the cash book <span class=\"highlight\">as a file<\/span> or send it as an email.<\/li><li >\n\tClick on <span class=\"highlight\">Create cash book<\/span>.
