Your device of choice is a JTL-POS-compatible one by Swissbit. We also strongly advise against using Android 12 and 13 as we have observed compatibility issues with those as well.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-reset ml-3 list-icons list-custom-square list-pos\">\n\t<li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tIf you have already purchased a cash register device with Android 11,12 or 13, do not use a Swissbit microSD TSS. Instead, use Deutsche Fiskal or Epson.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\tIf you are already using a Swissbit TSS and have connected it, <strong>do not update your cash register device to Android 11 or higher<\/strong>, because after an update the TSS can no longer be addressed by the device. It is not possible to reset the operating system (downgrade) from Android to an earlier version.\t<\/li><\/ul>\t<p><strong>The provider Swissbit is working on a solution. Further details are currently unknown to us, but will be published here as soon as available.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"media-object media-object-border d-flex align-items-top\">\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t<span class=\"mt-1 mr-3 flex-shrink-0 far fa-info-circle fa-2x columnsize-fa-2x text-danger\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t<span class=\"media-content border-danger\">\n\t\n\t\t\t<span style=\"color: #dc3545;\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Should you need verification for your documents that confirms the incompatibility of the Swissbit microSD TSS with Android 11, 12 and 13, please contact our support team.\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"step-1-setting-up-the-tss\">Step 1: Setting up the TSS <span id='anchor-step-1-setting-up-the-tss' data-href='#step-1-setting-up-the-tss' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h2>\t<p>The first step is to set up the TSS in JTL-POS.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"list-reset step mb-5 list-pos normal-step\">\n\t<li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tSwitch off the cash register device.<\/li><li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tInsert the fiscal module into the designated slot of your cash register device.<\/li><li >\n\tSwitch on the device and start JTL-POS.<\/li><\/ol><ol start=\"4\" class=\"list-reset step mb-5 list-pos normal-step\">\n\t<li >\n\tGo to the JTL-POS menu and select <span class=\"highlight\">Settings &gt; Technical safety system<\/span>. The dialogue <span class=\"highlight\">Technical safety system<\/span> opens.<\/li><li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tTap on the pen icon to edit the TSS settings.<\/li><li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tIn the <span class=\"highlight\">Technical Safety System<\/span> section, select the option <span class=\"highlight\">Swissbit<\/span>.<\/li><li class=\"media-single-line\">\n\tTap <span class=\"highlight\">Save and restart app<\/span>. If you did not assign any PINs and PUKs when you first set up the TSS, please contact your previous POS software provider. Then specify a new <span class=\"highlight\">PUK<\/span>,\u00a0<span class=\"highlight\">Admin PIN<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<span class=\"highlight\">Time admin PIN<\/span>\u00a0according to the specifications.\u00a0Confirm your entry to complete the setup.\t<\/li><\/ul><ol start=\"11\" class=\"list-reset step mb-5 list-pos normal-step\">\n\t<li >\n\tThe technical safety system has been successfully set up and is active in the background. Note that there may be short delays in the checkout process due to the additional process.<\/li><li >\n\tThe technical safety system is now starting up. Wait until successful setup is confirmed by a receipt with the specified PINs and the PUK along with other important information related to the TSS setup. <strong>Keep this information safe<\/strong>, otherwise the TSS will no longer be accessible.<\/li><\/ol>\t<p>A new icon indicating the status of the TSS is now displayed in the top right corner of the cashier dialogue. If the icon is red, the connection to the TSS has been <strong>interrupted<\/strong>. Tap the icon to initiate reconnection. For more information, please read the TSS failover help page.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"d-flex align-items-center hl-wawi\" id=\"step-2-add-the-tss-information-to-receipts-and-business-expenses-receipts\">Step 2: Add the TSS information to receipts and business expenses receipts <span id='anchor-step-2-add-the-tss-information-to-receipts-and-business-expenses-receipts' data-href='#step-2-add-the-tss-information-to-receipts-and-business-expenses-receipts' class='far fa-link' data-anchor><\/span><\/h2>\t<p>You must also add the information about the TSS to all receipts and business expenses receipts. Go to <span style=\"color: #336699;\"><a style=\"color: #336699;\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.jtl-software.com\/en\/jtl-pos\/hardware\/setting-up-print-templates-for-receipts\/\">Setting up print templates for receipts<\/a><\/span> to learn how to add variables to receipts and business expenses receipts. To do this, use the following variables:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-reset ml-3 list-icons list-custom-square list-pos\">\n\t<li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<strong>$tse_footer$:<\/strong> Issues the signature of the TSS. The information in the signature comes directly from the TSS and cannot be edited. This variable is <span class=\"highlight\">obligatory<\/span>.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<strong>$tse_sn$:<\/strong> Serial number of the TSS. According to the German cash register regulation, receipts must either contain the serial number of the cash register or TSS. This variable is <strong>optional<\/strong>.\t<\/li><li >\n\t\t\t<span class=\"list-icon fas fa-square\"><\/span>\t\t<strong>$tse_qr$:<\/strong> Issues the signature of the TSS as a QR code. The QR code can only be added to printed receipts. It is not displayed on receipts sent via email.
