Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Selling vouchers in JTL-POS
Your task/initial situation
You are already logged in to JTL-Vouchers, have established a connection to JTL-POS and created a voucher. Now you want to sell a digital voucher or a gift card.
Prerequisites
Step 1: Create receipt & add voucher
- Create a new receipt.
- Select the voucher item you want to sell. The dialogue box for selecting the voucher serial number opens.
- Select the serial number or search for it.
Hint: If the voucher serial number is available in the form of a barcode on the gift card, you can scan the bar code using a scanner. The number will then appear in the search field. The serial number is selected automatically in the event of a hit.
- Confirm your selection with the green check mark.
- Then close the line item dialogue with Enter.
Step 2: Hand over receipt and voucher
- Tap Go to checkout and complete the checkout.
- Finally, hand over the receipt and the gift card to your customer.
In order to give your customers proof of purchase, the associated serial number is automatically printed under the item line item on the receipt.
The voucher is automatically activated in JTL vouchers after sale and can thus be redeemed via all connected and approved sales channels.
