Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Find out more about the new editions and packages here. Check our FAQ for frequently asked questions about the product editions.
Carrying out adjustment postings as a fulfilment service provider
Your task/initial situation
You are a fulfilment service provider and would like to adjust a posting, for example due to a damaged item or expired goods. If, in such cases, you want to provide your fulfilment customers with a reason, you can use the Comment field in the adjustment posting process. This field is sent to the merchant together with the stock level update.
Adjustment postings with JTL-WMS
- You can carry out adjustment postings in JTL-WMS in Internal > Outbound posting (or alternatively in JTL-WMS Mobile).
- Search for or scan the item for which you want to perform an outbound posting. Enter the quantity and, if required, a comment. Select Confirm posting to carry out the adjustment.
- Start a fulfilment synchronisation to transmit the outbound posting and the new stock level to your fulfilment customer.
For more information about outbound postings in JTL-WMS, please see: Adjustment postings in JTL-WMS.
