Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Find out more about the new editions and packages here. Check our FAQ for frequently asked questions about the product editions.
Setting up Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime
Your task/initial situation
You are registered as a seller in the Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime programme and would like to ship orders with the Prime option via the JTL-Fulfillment Network.
Prerequisites
Step 1: Authorising the fulfilment service provider
- Log in to the JTL-Fulfillment Portal and use the profile management (person icon) to open the page Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime. The Amazon access data page opens.
- Then click New access data. The New access data dialogue box opens.
- Under Platform, select the Amazon marketplace for which you would like to enter the access data. Then enter your Amazon merchant ID.
- Click Save.
You will be redirected to the Amazon Seller Central login page.
- Log in to Amazon Seller Central.
In order for JTL-FFN to generate the shipping labels with your name, you must allow the JTL-eazyAuction service access to your Amazon data in your Amazon Seller Central account.
- At the end of the page, activate the check box and then click Sign up / Login to JTL-eazyAuction.
Note: The JTL-eazyAuction service is not only used for generating labels. Furthermore, JTL-eazyAuction is responsible for creating product listings, prices and other functions via JTL-Wawi. Therefore, JTL-EazyAuction requires access to a lot of data at this point, even if it is not required for the shipping label generation and is also not retrieved by JTL.
If everything has worked correctly, you will be redirected to the Access data page.
- Repeat this procedure for all other Amazon platforms on which you can use Seller Fulfilled Prime.
Step 2: Creating shipping methods
This step is optional. If you have already set up shipping methods for Seller Fulfilled Prime, you can continue to use them.
- Create at least one shipping method for shipping with ‘Seller Fulfilled Prime’ and activate the check box Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime for this shipping method.
- Contact your fulfilment service provider to see if you need more than one shipping method. Be sure to always activate the check box Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime for your shipping method.
If you only use this Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime shipping method for shipping via a JTL- Fulfillment warehouse, you do not need to make any further configurations. All necessary configurations such as package size or weight, pickup, etc. are made by the service provider
Step 3: Assigning shipping methods
- Match the Amazon shipping methods to the FFN shipping methods provided by your fulfilment service provider. Read more about assigning shipping methods: Setting up shipping methods
