Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Find out more about the new editions and packages here. Check our FAQ for frequently asked questions about the product editions.
Creating import and export templates in the Fulfillment Portal
Your task/initial situation
Sie would like to batch import item data, inbounds or sales orders from your ERP system into the JTL-Fulfillment Network. The import can be done using an exchange file in CSV format. To do this, you need to create an import template once in which you link the export from your system with the fields in the JTL-Fulfillment Network. The same applies to the export of warehouse or shipping reports.
Preparations
Creating an import or export template
- Log in to the Fulfillment Portal with your access data (Go to FFN Portal).
- Click on the menu item Data exchange. The page Data exchange opens.
- Click on the Template overview to open a list of all previous templates.
- Click on the Create template button. The Creating templates page opens.
- Give the template a name and, if necessary, a description.
- Under Template type, select the type of operation for which you want to create a template. There are different mandatory fields depending on the operation.
- Under Separator, select the character with which the individual columns are separated from each other.
- Under Character set, either select the character set of your CSV file or have the character set be detected automatically.
- Into Fields > Name CSV, enter the name of the column in the CSV file.
- Alternatively, enter a value in the Default value column that is to be used for all rows in the CSV file.
- Click Save. The import template will now be created and can be used for imports.
