Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Integrating the Händlerbund plug-in
Your task/initial situation
You would like to use the plug-in from Händlerbund to make the legal texts in your JTL-Shop legally compliant.
Requirements for using the interface:
With the Händlerbund plug-in for JTL-Shop, you can keep your legal texts in your online shop always up to date. The following texts can be automatically replaced and updated in JTL-Shop with the plug-in:
Step 1: Becoming a member of Händlerbund
- Book a suitable package for your JTL-Shop via the Händlerbund website.
- Log in to your Händlerbund customer account and note down the token. You will need this later for activation in JTL-Shop.
Step 2: Activating the Händlerbund plug-in
The plug-in is automatically delivered with JTL-Shop. All you have to do is activate it.
- In the back end of JTL-Shop, open the page Terms/Withdrawal via the menu View > Custom contents.
- In the We recommend section, click on More in the Händlerbund pane.
- Then click on the Install plug-in button on the Händlerbund overview page.
Step 3: Configuring the Händlerbund plug-in
- In the back end of JTL-Shop, open the configuration page for the Händlerbund plug-in via the menu Plug-ins > Plug-in manger > JTL Händlerbund Plugin für Rechtstexte.
- Set the option Händlerbund nutzen (Use Händlerbund) to Ja (Yes) and enter your Händlerbund token that you received in step 1 into Token.
- Click Save to apply the settings. The legal texts in JTL-Shop will now be replaced by the texts provided by Händlerbund.
