    Toolbar

Connection parameters: Use this button to open the JTL-Shop Transmission parameters dialogue box. In this dialogue box, specify the size at which an archive will be sent to your shop. Read more on the topic here.

Request a test shop: With this button you will be forwarded to the JTL contact form, via which you can request a test shop.

    General tab

Name in JTL-Wawi: Enter the name of your online shop in this field, under which it should be managed in JTL-Wawi.

Licence key: Enter the licence key you received from JTL in this field. This field is only needed if you use JTL-Shop. If you are using a JTL-Connector, this step is not required. Read more about licencing here: Purchasing a licence.

Company: It is possible to manage more than one company in JTL-Wawi. Use the drop-down menu to specify the company to which the revenue of your online shop should be allocated.

Root category: Using the root category, you can assign a main category to the online shop that contains all categories and items that can be activated for the online shop.

Note: All categories and products that are not in the root category will not be sent to the online shop. If you move categories and products from the root category to a different category later, they will be removed from the online shop with the next synchronisation!

It is not necessary to enter a root category if the respective online shop is the only one of the online shops maintained in JTL-Wawi that uses these categories and products. The active/inactive status is handled as usual via the check boxes for activation/deactivation in the item master data and category master data of JTL-Wawi.

There are some differences if you want to activate certain categories and products for several online shops. This is especially important if you connect a third-party online shop via JTL-Connector and JTL-Shop via JTL-Wawi. In that case you need to carefully consider the differences in the category structures and the shop system structures themselves.

Block transmission: Activate this check box to block the online shop connection and to prevent the entire data exchange between JTL-Shop and JTL-Wawi.

Use order IDs from the shop: Activate this check box to instruct JTL-Wawi to use the order ID generated by the online shop as the sales order ID in JTL-Wawi. When the option is disabled, JTL-Wawi creates a new sales order ID for every incoming JTL-Shop order. Please note that sales order ID must be unique. You can make the order IDs in JTL-Shop a unique number range via an order ID prefix/suffix.

Transfer orders as sales quotations: Activate this check box to instruct JTL-Wawi to create a sales quotation in JTL-Wawi from the order in your shop.

Reset shop data: Use this button to delete all links between JTL-Wawi and your online shop.

    Web server tab

JTL-Shop address: Enter the URL of your online shop. If you are trying to connect an online shop via JTL-Connector, add “/jtlconnector/” to the end of the URL. Example: http://my-online-shop.com/jtlconnector/

Sync user name: This field is only relevant if you want to connect JTL-Shop. Enter the user name you received with the JTL email. The field is not required when connecting third-party providers.

Sync password: For JTL-Shop, enter the password provided by JTL or, if you changed it, the new password. For online shops that you have connected via JTL-Connector, you need an identification element that allows JTL-Connector to identify and connect both systems (JTL-Wawi and the shop system). The shop system generates an authorisation token that must then be entered as the password in JTL-Wawi. Enter the password that you have created in your online shop for authorisation. Generally, this is the authorisation token generated by the shop system.

Test connection: Once you completed the web server information, you need to test the connection. With JTL-Connector, the button can only be activated after a successful test.

    Data tab

Currencies: In JTL-Wawi, one currency is always the Default currency. Specify which currency of your online shop corresponds to this default currency, for example Euro. If you allow only one type of currency per shop system anyway, the selected currency will automatically be the default currency.

Languages: In this area you can find all languages maintained in JTL-Wawi. Activate the languages that you want to offer in your online shop. One of the languages must be defined as the default language. This is the language that will be used when the online shop is opened for the first time.

Customer groups: In JTL-Wawi, one customer group is always the Default customer group. When a customer visits your shop without logging in, they will see the prices assigned to this default customer group.

    Module tab

Activate module: Use this button to open the JTL-Shop module management dialogue box. In this dialogue box, enter the licence key for your JTL-Shop module. You might have to purchase them first in the JTL-Store.

Remove module: Use this button to delete an activated module.

Show all available modules: This button will redirect you to the JTL-Store.
