    Change log and default settings

    Your task/initial situation

    You want to be able to know which back end user has recently made changes to settings or want to find out what the default setting of a certain option is.

    Show change log

    You have the option of calling up a change log for many settings in the back end of JTL-Shop. You can reach these by clicking on the Change log icon behind the respective setting.

    In the dialogue box that opens, you can see which user and which IP address has changed the option and when. In addition, you can see the previous setting and the new setting.

    As soon as a setting has been changed, you also have the option of resetting it to the default setting. When hovering over the icon, the default value is displayed in brackets.

    Overview of all changes made

    The view described above is particularly suitable if you want to view individual settings. If you need an overview of all changes made, go to Administration > Troubleshooting > Log in the Settings log tab. There you can also filter for changes made during a certain period of time.
