Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Requesting a JTL-Shop test shop

Your task/initial situation

You already have an online shop or are completely new to online trading. You are interested in the shop system JTL-Shop. Before you settle on a system, you would like to see what working with JTL-Shop is like.

Prerequisites

You already have a JTL-Customer account. If not, click here and register in the JTL-Customer Centre.

Restrictions

You must work with JTL-Wawi if you want to use JTL-Shop. If you do not use JTL-Wawi yet, please have a look at the JTL-Wawi help pages first.
You can get one four-week test licence per email address. Should you need to extend the test period, please contact JTL at the end of the test phase and ask for an extension.
JTL does not offer any services for migrating a test shop to a third-party hosting provider. Please note that database access or database backups are not offered for test shops. An FTP access is available upon request.

Requesting a test version of JTL-Shop

Go to the JTL-Customer Centre.
Log in via the Anmelden (Log in) button.

Switch to the Produkte (Products) tab. Click on the Onlineshop (Online shop) icon.

In the section Produkte > Onlineshop (Products > Online shop), click on Shop-Editionen (Shop editions).

Under Shop-Editionen (kostenfrei) (Shop editions (free of charge), in the column JTL-Shop (Testphase) (JTL-Shop (trial)), click on the button Testshop beantragen (Request test shop). This will take you to the page Produkte buchen (Book products).

Click Kostenfrei bestellen (Order for free). You will receive a booking confirmation.

Test shops are free of charge, noncommittal and not restricted. They are installed by our employees on our test servers, which means that you do not have to install anything yourself.

Please note that your test shop is not meant to be used productively but as a test environment. You will receive the access data via email to the email address stored in the Customer Centre. Once you have the access data, you can synchronise the test shop with your locally installed JTL-Wawi and test all its features.

FTP access data

If you need FTP access to the server, for example to test the Download Module or edit template files, you can request it by opening a ticket via the Support area in the JTL-Customer Centre.

_ga	2 years	Used to differentiate between users.
_gid	24 hours	Used to differentiate between users.
_gat	1 minute	Used to throttle the request rate. When Google Analytics is provided via the Google Tag Manager, this cookie is named _dc_gtm_.
AMP_TOKEN	30 seconds up to 1 year	Contains a token that can be used to retrieve a client ID from the AMP client ID service. Other possible values indicate an opt-out, an inflight request, or an error while retrieving a client ID from the AMP client ID service.
_gac_	90 days	Contains campaign-related information for the user. If you have linked your Google Analytics and Google Ads accounts, this cookie will be read by the conversion tags of the Google Ads website, unless you choose not to.
