Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Find out more about the new editions and packages here. Check our FAQ for frequently asked questions about the product editions.
Creating manual orders in JTL-Wawi
Your task/initial situation
You want to create a sales order directly in JTL-Wawi because a new customer has called you and wants to place an order, for example.
A manual order is an order that you create directly in JTL-Wawi without any prerequisites. You do not have to select a customer, nor determine in advance through which channel the sales order was received. However, you can select an existing customer for the manual order if you wish. Read below how to create a manual order.
Creating manual orders
- Click on the Sales icon to go to the sales management in JTL-Wawi.
- Select the category Sales orders in the category structure on the left.
- Click Manual order.
Alternatively, you can create a manual order using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S.
The still empty Sales order dialogue box opens. You can edit the manual order like an ordinary sales order. Read more on the topic here.
