Hosting JTL-Shop
Your task/initial situation
JTL offers various hosting options.
You can choose between two different plans, Basic|CFE (Community Free Edition) and PLUS|SE (Standard Edition). The cheaper Community Free Edition is aimed at online sellers with a small range of products that does not exceed 500 items including child items.
With the Standard Edition, you can offer your customers an unlimited number of items and use the error-tolerant JTL-Search.
Request Hosting
- Log in to the JTL-Customer Centre. If you do not have an account yet, you must first create a customer account. You can access the Customer Centre via the following link: https://kundencenter.jtl-software.de/
- Go to the area Produkte > Hosting by JTL > Zur Tarifübersicht – Neues Hosting buchen (Products > Hosting by JTL > Find a plan – Book new Hosting).
- You will now see all the options that are available to you. Choose a Hosting from JTL-Shop in the edition you would like to book by clicking on the respective button Zur Bestellung (Order here).
- If you do not yet have a domain, you can register a domain by selecting Jetzt neue Domain festlegen (Specify new domain now). If you have not yet decided on a final online shop domain, you can use the selection to specify a temporary domain first.
- In the following steps, add or update your address and payment information. Once you have entered the information, you can order Hosting for a fee. Once the setup process is complete, you will receive all the necessary access data to your JTL-Hosting and information on how to proceed.
Request Hosting with existing domain
If you already have a domain with JTL, the Already hosted by JTL plan is the right choice for you. If your domain is hosted by another hoster and you want to transfer it to JTL, select the Transfer domain to JTL option.
Choose Self-hosted domain if you want your domain to continue to be registered with another hoster and you only want a forwarding of this domain to the JTL-Shop Hosting.
No costs are incurred if you have already hosted a previous version or a test shop at JTL. However, there is a fee for transferring JTL-Shops from other hosting providers. Find more information on fees here: JTL-Shop Hosting
