Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Connecting the SuperLead 5130 BLE handheld scanner
Your task/initial situation
You would like to use the SuperLead 5130 BLE handheld scanner during the checkout process.
The SuperLead 5130 BLE bar code scanner can be connected either via USB or Bluetooth. The scanner is thus suitable for both stationary and mobile use.
Connection via Bluetooth
- Turn on the SuperLead scanner by holding down the Scan button for 3 seconds.
- Scan the following bar code to put the scanner in Bluetooth mode.
- Open the status bar of your tablet by dragging your finger from top to bottom. Press and hold the Bluetooth button. You will then be taken to your device’s Bluetooth menu. Enable Bluetooth, if necessary. Under Available devices, you can view all active Bluetooth devices within range of the tablet.
- Select the scanner from the list by tapping on its device name. The scanner’s device name starts with “SL” followed by 12 digits. Once connected, the scanner will appear under Paired devices.
- In order to have later entries by the scanner accepted automatically, you must specify an “Enter” command as a suffix for each entry. To do this, scan the following bar code.
