    Checklist for setting up the TSS for JTL-POS

    Your task/initial situation

    You have purchased a TSS for JTL-POS and would now like to use our setup service.

    Make sure that the following points apply to your system. This is the only way to guarantee a smooth installation. In doing so, stick to the points for your purchased TSS variant. Select your variant in the table of contents of this page.

    First, install the TeamViewer QuickSupport app from the Google Play Store so that we can access your JTL-POS device for remote maintenance.

    EPSON TSS

    The required hardware is present

    • TSS-capable Epson printer (TM-M30)
    • Fiskal upgrade kit with TSS has already been installed
    • TSS microSD card (part of our update kit) has been correctly inserted
    • Cash register device with JTL-POS, which is fully set up, is up to date and is connected to the JTL-Customer Centre.

    The required hardware is connected to the network and can communicate perfectly with each other

    • Make sure that a stable LAN connection has been established between cash register and printer. If LAN is not possible, use Bluetooth as an alternative.
    • On the network, make sure that the devices can communicate with each other and are on the same network.
    • You have correctly inserted the TSS microSD card (part of our update kit)

    Epson printer firmware is up to date

    • Download the Epson TM Utility app from the Google Play Store.
    • Connect to your printer using the Epson TM Utility app
    • Now check the firmware of your printer and update it to the current version if necessary.

    Swissbit TSS (USB stick or microSD card):

    The required hardware is present and connected

    • Swissbit USB stick or Swissbit microSD card
    • Cash register device with JTL-POS, which is fully set up, is up to date and is connected to the JTL-Customer Centre.
    • The Swissbit TSS is connected to your cash register device in the form of a USB stick or a microSD card and JTL-POS has access to the storage medium.

    TSS of Deutsche Fiskal (Fiskal Cloud TSE)

    The required hardware is present

    • Cash register device with JTL-POS, which is fully set up, is up to date and is connected to the JTL-Customer Centre.
    • Windows client on the same network to install the FFC (Fiskal Cloud Connector)

    The required hardware is connected to the network and can communicate perfectly with each other

    • The POS device and the Windows client must be connected to the same network and be able to communicate with each other.
    • Activate the required port for communication of the FFC in your network in advance (client, firewall, switch, router, etc.).
