Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Item badges for special items

Detailed description of all options

All settings for item badges in JTL-Shop 5

Language: If you maintain several languages in JTL-Shop, you can set the stickers for each language individually.

Badge for item type: Use the drop-down list to select the item type to which you would like to add a badge. Badges are available for the following item types:

Bestsellers: Items that are currently selling best. Using the option Minimum number of sales for bestsellers, you can define how often an item must have been sold in order to be marked as a bestseller under View > Settings > Global > Section: Items. Please see Settings > Global.
Special offers: Setting in the item master data in JTL-Wawi in the tab Special prices.
New in product range: Item setting in the item master data in JTL-Wawi under General info > Online shops/JTL-POS. In the back end of the online shop, you can define how many days an item will be highlighted as “new” with the sticker.
Top items: Item setting in the item master data in JTL-Wawi under General info > Online shops/JTL-POS.
Available soon: Displayed if the item has a future release date in JTL-Wawi, but back-end setting 281 Items with release date in future is set to Not buyable.
Top rated: Has received high ratings from customers.
Not in stock: Depends on the available stock of the item and whether negative stock is allowed for the item. The item is displayed as sold out with this badge. For this purpose, the Item display filter may have to be adjusted under View > Settings > Global in JTL-Shop.
In stock: Setting Inventory management active in the item master data in JTL-Wawi.
Pre-order: Is displayed if the item in JTL-Wawi has a release date in the future, but back-end setting 281 Item with release date in future is set to Buyable.

Badge function active: Activates the badge function for the selected item type.

Priority: If an item belongs to several types of the special items, you can define the order here. The item type with the highest number and thus the highest priority is displayed.

Please note: The following options are only relevant when using the EVO template. In the NOVA template, these settings have no effect.

Badge image: Here you can upload an image that will be used as a badge. If possible, choose an image with transparency.

Transparency: Specify the transparency of the badge in percent. If you use the EVO template of JTL-Shop 4 or the NOVA template of JTL-Shop 5, this setting is changed by adjusting the template.

Badge size in pixels (px): Specify the size of the badge. If you use the EVO template of JTL-Shop 4 or the NOVA template of JTL-Shop 5, this setting is changed by adjusting the template.

Position: Specify where in the item image the badge will be placed. If you use the EVO template of JTL-Shop 4 or the NOVA template of JTL-Shop 5, this setting is changed by adjusting the template.
