Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Banning email addresses from registration
Your task/initial situation
You would like to blacklist certain email addresses to prevent them from creating a customer account or logging in to your online shop. This can be necessary when a customer was banned for not paying their bills and you do not want them to register again with a different account.
Adding email addresses to the blacklist
- In the back end of JTL-Shop, go to Email > Blacklist > Email blacklist.
- Choose Yes for the option Use email blacklist.
- Enter the email addresses to be banned into Email addresses separated by a semicolon.
- Then click Save to apply your settings. Email addresses listed on the blacklist are blocked from any interaction in the online shop.
