Creating links for special items
Your task/initial situation
In JTL-Shop, overviews are automatically generated that contain the so-called special items. For example, you can view an overview of all special offers, bestsellers or offers that will be available soon. For these pages, we would now like to determine under which URL they can be reached and how the contents are displayed.
Setting page names for special products.
- In the back end of JTL-Shop, go to SEO > SEO paths. The page Special items opens.
You will see a list of all pages with special products that are currently available. In the field next to the page entry, you can specify under which page name the page should be accessible.
- Change the names of the pages if necessary.
Please note: Keep in mind that clean URLs are of particular interest to search engines. This means that you should choose the names of the pages in such a way that people can tell what is on the page from the address alone.
- Click Save to apply the settings.
Changing the sort order for special products
You can specify the sort order of special products on special pages.
- Switch to the Settings tab.
- Use the drop-down menu to select the sort order.
- Click Save to apply the settings.
