Managing the entered item quantity
Whenever you scan items using JTL-WMS Mobile, you can choose between different options for entering the item quantity.
If you do not want to scan each item individually, you can use the icons next to the Quantity field to specify the item quantity to be entered.
Increasing or reducing the quantity
Minus: If you tap on the minus, the item quantity is reduced by 1.
Number: The current selected item quantity is displayed. If you tap on the number, a calculator opens. The result of your calculation will automatically be used as the new selected item quantity.
Plus: If you tap on the plus, the item quantity increases by 1.
Icons
Calculator icon: If you tap on the icon, a calculator opens. The result of your calculation will automatically be used as the new selected item quantity.
Open lock icon: If you activate this icon, the quantity is reset to 1, as soon as you star editing the next item.
Closed lock icon: If you activate this icon, the quantity that you have pre-set or that you have set while editing the previous item is always applied when entering an item.
Example: You would like to transfer a quantity of 10 of all the items you would like to transfer. If you have set the quantity to 10 once and you have activated the icon, an item quantity of 10 is entered automatically when an item is scanned. If there are only 8 of an item that you have scanned in a storage location, you will receive an error message and need to reduce the quantity manually. If you then enter another item, the number 8 is automatically entered in the Quantity field.
You can adjust the quantity manually using the + and – icons if necessary.
List icon: If you activate this icon, the quantity of the selected item from the that is present in a storage location is entered.
