Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Find out more about the new editions and packages here. Check our FAQ for frequently asked questions about the product editions.

Your task/initial situation
You are already logged in to JTL-Vouchers and have established a connection to JTL-POS and JTL-Wawi. You would now like to create vouchers for JTL-Shop.
If you have not yet connected JTL-Vouchers to JTL-Shop, follow these instructions first: Connecting JTL-Vouchers to JTL-Shop.
There are various ways in which you can make vouchers available to your customers. Vouchers can be issued digitally or as a voucher card. You can also specify set voucher values for your customers or have them enter a desired value.
Creating a voucher in JTL-Wawi
You can create vouchers for your online shop via JTL-Wawi.
- Create a voucher in JTL-Wawi. To do this, follow these instructions: Creating vouchers in JTL-Wawi.
- If you want to sell vouchers with a flexible amount that customers can enter themselves in the online shop, go to Item master data > Other > Vouchers and enable the optional setting Value from transaction. As a result, the attribute jtl_voucher_flex with the value True is automatically assigned in the Attributes/Characteristics tab and the voucher is offered in the shop with a flexible value.

- Perform an online shop synchronisation in JTL-Wawi.
- The purchased voucher is displayed as a sales order in the Sales section.
- Activate the voucher by shipping the sales order. Further reading: Shipping sales orders.
- The customer will then receive an email with the voucher code.
