    Adjusting global item settings

    Bills of materials

Automatically calculate the weight of BOMs
A bill of materials in JTL-Wawi, otherwise known as a set of items, is an item that consists of various other items, so-called components.

The Automatically calculate the weight of BOMs option automatically ensures that all information on the weight of the components in the BOM is displayed as a total sum. If you assign a different weight to a component, the item weight of the parts list is recalculated automatically.

Automatically calculate average purchase price of BOMs
The Automatically calculate average purchase price of BOMs option functions exactly the same way. The average price of all components in the BOM will be displayed there. If the average price (avg net pp) changes in a BOM component due to a goods receipt or an A/P invoice, the average price in the BOM will be automatically recalculated.

Please note: If you have already created BOMs in JTL-Wawi, activating these options can lead to considerably more processing time.

    Returns

Start date for calculation of return rate: Here, you can define from when exactly the return rate displayed for an item is to be calculated. An adjustment here may be useful if, for example, you only want to see the return rate of your items for the last six months.

    Online shop synchronisation (JTL-Shop)

Update ‘Awaiting delivery’ every 24 hrs in JTL-Shop: Here, you have the option to display a supply date in your shop for items that are no longer in stock. For this purpose, there must be a purchase order for the item with the status Being processed, where a future delivery date for the item is set. Additionally, the Show reference to supplier stocks option must be activated in JTL-Shop. The Update ‘Awaiting delivery’ with every synchronisation with JTL-Shop option ensures that the current delivery status for all items is transferred to the JTL shop. This information is transferred only once a day. Performance problems may occur during this information transfer, especially while printing.
