Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Setting up the basket and checkout
Your task/initial situation
You would like to define which information is displayed to your customers in the basket and you would also like to view saved customer baskets. You would also like to configure the ordering process and order completion.
Requirements/Restrictions
How to configure displayed information in the basket
- Log in to the back end of JTL-Shop with your admin access data.
- Go to View > Standard views > Order process to open the page Settings: Basket/Checkout.
- In the Basket section, make all settings according to your requirements.

- Click Save to save your settings.
Note: The activated information can only be displayed if it actually exists. This means, for example, that cross-selling is only visible if the item has been sold together with another item at least once.
How to configure the order process
- Go to View > Standard views > Order process to open the page Settings: Basket/Checkout.
- In the Order process section, make all settings according to your requirements.

- Click Save to save your settings.
How to configure the order completion
- Go to View > Standard views > Order process to open the page Settings: Basket/Checkout.
- In the Order completion section, make all settings according to your requirements.

- Click Save to save your settings.
How to view and manage saved baskets
- Go to View > Standard views > Order process to open the page Settings: Basket/Checkout.
- Activate the option Save basket. The last basket of a customer who did not complete the order is saved and is then still available to the customer when they log in again.
- In the back end of JTL-Shop go to Marketing > Statistics > Baskets to open the Saved baskets page.
- In the Action column, click on the eye icon to display the shopping basket. You will see the items, their quantity, and the date when the item was added to the basket.
