How do sales orders arrive in JTL-Wawi?
Overview of the different types of sales orders
On this page, we would first like to give you a brief overview of how sales orders can be created in JTL-Wawi.
The following options are possible:
Manual orders
A manual order is an order that you create directly in JTL-Wawi without any prerequisites. You can create a manual order by using the Manual order button in the sales management of JTL-Wawi in the Sales orders category. You can either select an existing customer for this sales order or enter new customer data that is automatically transferred to JTL-Wawi as a new customer. Read more on the topic here.
Sales orders
If you contact a customer who is already listed in your customer administration, you can create a sales order directly by selecting the desired customer and clicking Customer > Create sales order in the toolbar. Read more on the topic here.
eBay orders
An eBay order is transferred to JTL-Wawi via the eBay interface JTL-eazyAuction. The status of the order is updated during each synchronisation with the JTL-eazyAuction servers if there have been any changes. Read more on the topic here.
Amazon orders
An Amazon order is transferred to JTL-Wawi via the Amazon interface JTL-eazyAuction. The status of the order is updated during each synchronisation with the JTL-eazyAuction servers if there have been any changes. Read more on the topic here.
JTL-Shop orders
Orders from a JTL-Shop connected to JTL-Wawi are automatically picked up during each online shop synchronisation and are then available in JTL-Wawi. In addition, the status of an order is transmitted during each online shop synchronisation, so that customers who log into the customer area of your JTL-Shop can always see the status of their order. Orders from third-party online shop via JTL-Connector or other plug-ins
You can connect other shop systems to JTL-Wawi via JTL-Connector. There are also plug-ins that integrate additional marketplaces in JTL-Wawi. The orders of these external systems are also picked up by JTL-Wawi and can be further processed like any other order. Read more on the topic here.
Orders from JTL-POS
You can connect JTL-Wawi to our point of sale system JTL-POS. Orders that you create in JTL-POS are automatically transmitted to JTL-Wawi. A requirement for this is that you have connected JTL-POS to JTL-Wawi and the POS server is running in the background. Read more on the topic here.
Orders imported using JTL-DataTransfer
You can import orders from a marketplace that you have not connected via JTL-eazyAuction using JTL-DataTransfer. Read more on the topic here.
