    Outbound posting when transferring stock to FBA

    Your task/initial situation

    You have created and shipped a stock transfer to FBA. The items are in the intermediate storage for FBA. You notice that Amazon has not marked all items as delivered. You would like to clear these goods from the intermediate storage so that the stock transfer can be completed correctly.

    General information on FBA items in intermediate storage

    JTL-Wawi regularly reads reports on the stock levels of your items via the synchronisation with Amazon. Whenever items have been added and this item was in the FBA intermediate storage, this item is cleared from there. Since Amazon provides these reports partially delayed, it may happen that an outbound posting is displayed in JTL-Wawi up to 14 days late. We therefore generally recommend that you wait a while before clearing the items manually.

    Please note: If you clear items from intermediate storage and Amazon subsequently marks them as delivered and sends that information to JTL-Wawi, the items will be added to your stock in the FBA warehouse without reference to the stock transfer. This means that these items are not lost. Only the stock reported by Amazon is relevant for JTL-Wawi.

    Clearing goods from intermediate storage

    This is how you proceed to clear items from an FBA intermediate storage.

    1. In JTL-Wawi, go to the Warehouses area by clicking on the Warehouses icon. Open the Goods in intermediate storage folder.
    2. In the item list, right-click on the item you want to clear from intermediate storage. In the context menu, select Outbound posting intermediate storage (FBA).
    3. Repeat these steps for all items that you want to clear from intermediate storage.
