Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Find out more about the new editions and packages here. Check our FAQ for frequently asked questions about the product editions.
Transferring items between WMS warehouses
Your task/initial situation
You have two JTL-WMS warehouses and would like to transfer items between these warehouses. The stock transfer from one JTL-WMS warehouse to another WMS warehouse consists of 3 steps:
Step 1: Creating a stock transfer
Create the stock transfer in JTL-Wawi. You specify which items are sent from which warehouse in which way to which warehouse.
Select a JTL–WMS warehouse as the source warehouse and a JTL-WMS warehouse as the destination warehouse. Go to the documentation for Creating stock transfers
Step 2: Preparing for shipping
The goods leave your source warehouse via your specified default goods issue processes that you have defined for this warehouse and are posted to intermediate storage. Go to the documentation for Preparing for shipping
Step 3: Posting goods to the destination warehouse
Your goods will be received at your destination warehouse and posted to JTL-Wawi via your destination warehouse’s default goods receipt process. Go to the documentation Posting goods
