Goods issue from the goods receipt with EazyShipping

With the EazyShipping process it is possible to pack items for sales orders directly in the goods receipt.

Preparation

In JTL-WMS, under Settings > Warehouse options, on the Shipping processes tab, enable the option Goods issue with EazyShipping directly from goods receipt.

You can use the shipping process Shipping boxes in parallel. If you use both options in parallel, orders that fall under the EazyShipping process are given preference during goods receipt.

Conditions

The goods receipt location should also be a packing bench.

Procedure

Carry out the goods receipt for your items. JTL-WMS checks for each inbound posting whether there is an open sales order with exactly this item. The item may also only appear in the sales order in the quantity 1.

If JTL-WMS finds a suitable sales order, the system switches directly to the shipping dialogue of EazyShipping when an inbound posting is done during goods receipt. The item can be packed directly and the shipping documents can be printed.

After clicking the button Pack, the view jumps back to the goods receipt dialogue and you can continue doing inbound postings for the items.

If a large number of items has been posted, the EazyShipping dialogue opens several times.

Example: You have posted an item with a quantity of 10 at goods receipt. The item appears in 5 sales orders. The EazyShipping dialogue opens a total of 5 times until all orders for this item have been packed.

Interruption of the packing process for technical reasons: If for some reason JTL-WMS cannot continue working during this packing process (power failure, crash, …) and the user did not press the “Pack” button, the sales order must be processed manually. For this sales order, there is now a pick list which only contains this one line item. The sales order must now be packed with EazyShipping. The corresponding pick list number can be found in the Sales order overview. The EazyShipping dialogue can be started with this pick list number.
