    Managing returns

Please note: This function is available from JTL-Wawi version 1.6.32.

When is a return transferred to your fulfilment service provider?

As soon as you create a return and select a warehouse in the JTL-Fulfillment Network, this return is transferred to the warehouse’s fulfilment service provider. All changes are also synchronised with JTL-FFN and your fulfilment service provider.

Please note: Returns for sales orders from another warehouse, e.g. from your own or another fulfilment service provider’s warehouse, are also transferred to the specified FFN warehouse.

Your fulfilment service provider can also create new returns which are transferred to JTL-FFN. After the next fulfilment synchronisation, those will be automatically created in JTL-Wawi as well. In addition, changes you make to these returns are synchronised with JTL-FFN. Read here how to create and process returns in JTL-Wawi: Returns in JTL-Wawi.

    Restrictions on JTL-FFN returns

    • A return that is sent to an FFN warehouse can only have the status “Announced” and its sub-status. As the physical warehouse to which the return will be sent is that of the fulfilment service provider, only they can set the status to “Arrived”.
    • The sub-statuses created in JTL-Wawi are not supported in JTL-FFN. Therefore, the main status from JTL-Wawi is used in JTL-FFN when transferring a return. Details of exchanged items, invoice corrections and return labels are not being synchronised yet. Go here to learn more about return statuses in JTL-Wawi.

    Other configurations

Return reasons and item conditions can be created at will for you and your fulfilment service provider in JTL-Wawi and must therefore be assigned to the corresponding JTL-FFN values. Learn how to set this up in JTL-Wawi here: Setting up returns for JTL-FFN.
