Creating a delivery status
Your task/initial situation
You are obliged to indicate and adhere to a realistic estimation of the delivery time for the items that you are selling. JTL-Shop therefore always displays a dynamically calculated delivery time, which depends, amongst other things, on the available stock. In some cases, this calculation might not be suitable or adequate for your items despite individual adjustment options (e.g. different delivery times for different items or item types). You therefore wish to display a static text containing information on the delivery time.
- Via the menu Items > Delivery status, open the dialogue box Delivery times.
Description of the “Delivery times” dialogue box
- Click Add to create a new delivery status. The dialogue box Defining delivery time opens.
- Enter the name of the status in all languages activated in JTL-Wawi. The status will also be displayed in the online shop.
Assigning availability
Please note: In the item master data, the delivery status is called Availability.
- Click on the Items icon to go to the item management and select the item to which you want to assign an availability.
- Double-click on the item to open the item master data.
- Go to the tab Other.
- Select the desired specification from the Availability drop-down list.
- Save and close the item by clicking Save.
