Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Performing adjustment postings
Your task/initial situation
While working in the warehouse, an item breaks and you dispose of it. To correct the stock, you want to make an adjustment posting for the item.
Performing adjustment postings
- Open the Carrying out adjustment and transfer postings dialogue box via the menu Warehouses > Adjustment/Transfer postings.
Alternatively, you can also right-click on an item in the item management and select Adjustment posting in the context menu or click on the minus symbol in the tab General > Warehouses in the item master data.
- If necessary, enter or scan the item whose stock you want to adjust under Item.
- Under Outbound posting select the warehouse the faulty item is from.
- Under Inbound posting select None as the warehouse.
- Under Quantity, select the quantity of items to be cleared.
JTL-Wawi automatically generates a posting text, which can be adjusted or used unchanged.
- Click Post. The posting is now displayed in the Last 100 adjustment/transfer postings pane.
