    Setting up fulfilment warehouses

    Your task/initial situation

You are working with a fulfilment service provider. They store and ship your goods for you. You now want to integrate this fulfilment service provider into JTL-Wawi in order to be able to better track the stock levels.

    What is a fulfilment warehouse?

In principle, a fulfilment warehouse is similar to a default warehouse. The main difference is that you can use the functionalities specifically intended for Fulfilment when it comes to shipping. The exchange with the fulfilment service provider typically takes place via stock transfers and shipping data export and import.

Fulfilment warehouse vs. Fulfillment Network In JTL-Wawi, you can mark any warehouse as a the Fulfilment warehouse type. This function is described here on this help page and has been part of JTL-Wawi for a long time. With the new JTL-Fulfillment Network , JTL is significantly expanding the fulfilment functionality of JTL-Wawi. However, in order not to impair the business operations of existing customers who already use the Fulfilment warehouse type, the new warehouse type for the Fulfillment Network has been implemented independently. The new warehouse type cannot be selected but is created automatically. Please do not confuse these two warehouse types! For detailed documentation on the new Fulfillment Network, please see: JTL-Fulfillment Network
