Note: On 1 September 2024, JTL introduced new editions that bundle most of the previous individual services into different packages. In order for you to continue working as smoothly as possible, existing customers were automatically switched to the package configuration that best matched their existing contract. The individual packages differ in terms of limitations and/or range of functions. Therefore, some of the features described in the JTL-Guide may not be available to you as part of your booked JTL edition. You can change your package configuration in your JTL customer account. Installing JTL-Wawi on a MAC

Your task/initial situation

You are currently exclusively using Apple computers and would like to use JTL-Wawi on them. On this page we will show you two common solutions.

JTL-Wawi runs best on a Windows operating system. So if you are about to purchase hardware for the operation of JTL-Wawi, we strongly recommend using Windows computers. Of course, if you’re entire company is using Apple MACs, it is understandable that you do not wish to replace the infrastructure just to be able to use our ERP system. Therefore, you can choose from the following options:

Option 1: JTL-Wawi Cloud

For MAC users, the most convenient solution is the JTL-Wawi Cloud.

You can access JTL-Wawi from any computer with an internet connection. That way, JTL-Wawi continues to run on a Windows operating system and offers the best performance. To gain access, use either any web browser or the software of our partner ecomDATA.

Option 2: Installing Windows on a MAC

You have the option of installing Microsoft Windows on your MAC computers. Once Microsoft Windows is on a computer, JTL-Wawi can be installed as usual.

For the installation of Windows, follow the Apple instructions: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201468 Please note that JTL cannot provide support for the installation of Windows on a MAC computer. In case a problem occurs, contact Apple or Microsoft.
