    Dialogue box: Manage payment methods

    The Manage payment methods dialogue box can be reached via the menu item Settings > Payment methods. Here, you can create new payment methods and edit or delete existing ones.

    Manage payment methods

    Payment method list: Here, you can see all the payment methods you have created. If you have assigned a payment provider to a payment method, this will be indicated in the list.


    Editing payment methods: Tap on the payment method you would like to edit. The Edit payment method dialogue box will open, in which you can then edit the selected payment method.


    Deleting payment methods: To delete a payment method, hold your finger down on the payment method until a confirmation request opens. Confirm with Yes.


    “Add/Open” button:  Opens the Edit payment method dialogue box.

    In the Edit payment method dialogue box, you can create a new payment method, edit existing ones, and add payment providers to payment methods.

    Toolbar

    “Save” button: Saves all entered data/changes and exits Edit mode.


    “Cancel/Close” button: Discards any entered data, resets edited data to its original state, and closes the dialogue box.

    General

    Name: Name of the payment method displayed in the user interface and issued on printing objects such as receipts.


    Description: Here, you can save any comments regarding the payment method like when the payment method should be used, for example.


    Sort number: Use the sort number to specify the order in which the different payment methods are displayed in lists in JTL-POS (1 = first at the top). By default, or when no sort number is specified otherwise, payment methods are listed alphabetically.


    DATEV accounts: Here, you can save an account from the DATEV chart of accounts to which payments with this payment method are to be posted.

    Payment provider

    Here, you can see all the payment providers you can connect to. To do this, enable the “Use payment provider” switch. Tapping on a payment provider opens the respective connection types and settings.
