Creating merchant templates
In order to print documents such as the delivery note or the invoice, it is advisable to create the Delivery note template set. In the following steps, you will find out how to create a suitable print template for this purpose.
- In JTL-Wawi, click on Admin > Print, email and export templates in the menu bar. The Managing print, email and export templates dialogue box opens.
- In the Template sets area, select the template set for Delivery notes.
- If you are connected to JTL-FFN via JTL-Wawi and have the Fulfilment Service Provider role, you have the option of adding the template JTL-Fulfillment Network via the Add button. Add it to your templates.
- You can remove the Standard template if you only use JTL-Wawi to ship sales orders submitted via JTL-FFN. If sales orders are also transferred to you via other platforms, you can use the Platform drop-down menu to limit the use of the JTL-Fulfillment Network template to sales orders assigned to the JTL-Fulfillment Network platform.
This template now prints the delivery note and invoice of the merchant if they exist for the sales order. Therefore, you do not need to add another template to print the invoice documents. Read here how you can use the added template during your JTL-WMS/PackingBench shipping process.
Limiting template to one customer group
If you work with fulfilment customers who do not include a delivery note or invoice, the created template would be printed blank. You can prevent this by creating two customer groups. For example, a group for customers for whom no documents are to be printed and a group for customers for whom at least one delivery note or invoice document is to be printed at all times. You can then limit the templates to these groups.
- In JTL-Wawi, open the Creating and editing customer groups dialogue box via the menu Customers > Customer groups.
- Create two customer groups. For example, JTL-Fulfillment without documents and JTL-Fulfillment with documents. For more information on creating customer groups in JTL-Wawi, click here.
- In JTL-Wawi, open the Managing print, email and export templates dialogue box via the menu Admin > Print, email and export templates.
- In the JTL-Fulfillment template, double-click in the Customer group column and select the customer group for which documents are to be printed from the drop-down menu. In this example, JTL-Fulfillment – With Documents.
Now the created JTL-Fulfillment template is limited to the Fulfillment customer group for which documents are to be printed.
