    Creating intermediate reports

    Your task/initial situation

You would like to create an intermediate report on the current sales of the day.

An intermediate report records the current cash balance and the revenue during the running operation since the last day-end closing report. You can create any number of intermediate reports. Intermediate reports can be printed and sent by email.

    Requirements/Restrictions

    • To create and view the intermediate report, the View intermediate report user right must be activated for the user (see: Managing user rights).
    • To send the intermediate report, the Send intermediate report and day-end closing report user right must be activated (see: Managing user rights).
    • To send the intermediate report, your email server must be configured accordingly (see: Managing email servers).
    • To send the intermediate report, the email address of the recipient must be saved for intermediate report and day-end closing report (see Managing recipients).

    Creating and printing intermediate reports

    1. Open the Intermediate report menu item. The current intermediate report will open. Depending on the settings in Settings > Cash register > Print receipts automatically, the report is printed directly.
    1. If the intermediate report was not printed automatically, tap the Print button.
Detail: If you have several printers in use, you can specify which printer is to be used to print the intermediate report. To do this, open the Printer menu item. In the Manage printers dialogue box, select the printer from which you want the report to be printed by default. In the Reports section, activate the Print reports option.

    Sending the intermediate report

    1. Tap on the Send button. The report is sent in the background to the specified recipient via email.
Please note: You can customise the email template for sending the intermediate report. Read more here: Managing email templates.
    1. Tap on Close to exit the intermediate report view.
