Access data and security
User name: The user name is the name that users enter when logging in to JTL-POS. It is saved to the log along with every user action and can be issued on all receipts and documents, as well as on the customer display.
Password: This is where the user enters their password to log in to JTL-POS. The password is displayed in an encrypted manner and cannot be accessed by any other user.
Repeat password: Here, repeat the password entered. Only after the correct password has been confirmed, can the user use it to log in to JTL-POS.
Read key (button): Tapping on the button Read key will open the Key ID dialogue box. If you have connected a USB device to your cash register that allows your staff to log in using a key, card, chip or similar device for identification purposes, you can select the access data of the device here and assign it to a user.
User groups (drop down menu): Here, you can assign the user to a user group. Their user rights will depend on the user group they have been assigned to.

In this section, you can enter essential user data such as name, contact information, date of birth, as well as a photo.
